I keep seeing people say; “A calorie is a calorie”. If all you eat is fast food but you only eat 1500 calories a day, it’s not the same as eating 1500 calories of healthy food. Soo many people think it is, but it’s not. Carbs turn into sugar in your body. Protein and veggies turn into fuel and burn fat. You do need carbs to survive but eating most of your calories in carbs and fatty foods, is not as efficient for weightloss as eating healthy food.
I don’t eat fast food, but I do eat some carbs. Typically I lose 2-3 lbs a week. This week I only lost 1lb 4 oz😭. I never ate more than 1300 calories and some days I was accidentally under(not good). BUT I found some really amazing rolls at Walmart and couldn’t help but buy them. I worked them into my calories and ate extra carbs (more than I have been) every day. 160 calories of carbs(one of those rolls) do not do the same thing for your body as 160 calories of veggies and proteins. Health food will help you to burn calories and fat. Unhealthy food will not do that. A calorie isn’t a calorie isn’t a calorie.
