Heyy so recently my daughter turned 9 years old!! Being a thrifty mom, I hate spending a lot on anything. On my daughter’s birthday day, I let her open some presents. She’ll have to wait til her party day to open the rest. For her birthday day my mom gave her an old tablet that she had. She bought a new case and memory card for it. And I bought and downloaded some games on it. So that was super thrifty. And a good idea! If you have any old electronics like; phones, tablets, cameras, etc these make great gifts for older children.
Andddd I got her a canvas bag that I bought from Family Dollar for $4. And then filled it with wrapped Dollar store items!!
These are ocean wall hangings from the Dollar Tree for $1 each;
Mermaid candle, sea shell lip gloss, mermaid ring holder, brown and pink wrapping paper, Disney bracelet, and cotton candy. All from the Dollar Tree for $1 each;
This unicorn bread wasn’t from a dollar store but I got it for only $4!!;
And Walmart isn’t a dollar store but it has tons of super inexpensive accessories for girls at dollar store prices. Like this set I got for $5;
I did buy a couple more things that were more expensive, but you can easily fill the bag up with fun things from Family Dollar, Dollar Tree, and Dollar General. My daughter is obviously obsessed with mermaids.
