5 Business Lessons I Learned From Being A Mom

  1. Keep it simple. Your children need you to keep things simple so that they can understand you and learn. Your clients need you to keep it simple so that they know what they’re getting. Or else they’ll get it from someone else.
  1. Redundancy – having too much of something is better than not having enough.
  1. Understanding/patience – you need to make sure that you understand the needs of your children and your clients. You also need to have the patience to get there.
  1. Have fun. You can’t survive your children or your work without fun! Being an entrepreneur is hard enough. Be sure to pick something that makes you happy.
  1. Focus on the present. Look to the future. Be in the now, but also, do now what will build a bright future.
