DIY Dye Feathers

Get a large bowl. Fill to brim with warm water and a few drops of dish soap. Add feathers. This will help them to absorb the colors.

Put 4 cups water, and 1/3 cup distilled vinegar in a pot and bring to boil. Add koolaid or food coloring. As much as it takes to make the color that you want.

Remove pot from stove and let it cool to warm.

Add feathers to your pot. Keep them in the mixture til they’re the desired color.

Pull feathers out and set them on paper towels to dry. They will look all scrunched up but you can fluff them after they dry. They will take about 5 or 6 hours to dry.

Fluff your feathers. You’re done!
